Bat Ponies and Kirin
So, given the recent decision regarding unnamed minor characters, I'm wondering if we might need/want to delete a number of Bat Pony and Kirin articles and merge the templates for those two pony varieties into this one. Admittedly, it's not quite the same situation, as there are a lot fewer Bat Ponies and Kirin, making them a bit more notable than the multitude of unnamed Earth Ponies, Unicorns, or Pegasi. - As long as they have some relevancy aside from just being in the background, I'm okay with them. Otherwise, I think sticking them as a list on the Bat Pony page (or as a separate 'list of' page depending on how long it gets).--Amelia (talk) 03:18, 26 July 2022 (UTC)
- Hm...well, that is a bit of a puzzler. The unnamed Bat Ponies are either members of Nightmare Moon's guard from The Cutie Re-Mark, or else appeared in Convocation of the Creatures. Only one of the latter has dialogue, but her companion showed up twice during the story arc. The various unnamed Kirin might be okay, as I believe most of them take part in either Autumn Blaze's flashbacks or are involved in taking Fluttershy and Applejack to the Stream of Silence. The main exceptions are a pair of mares from The Last Problem, one of whom only appears perched on a statue in the background in future Canterlot. The other only appears in a scene in Ponyville, but it's as part of a group of creatures welcoming Luster Dawn.--EmeraldBlitz (talk) 05:48, 26 July 2022 (UTC)
