Some characters from G1 appear in this; would we want to note it on the G1 character pages, or create separate articles since they’re technically from an alternate timeline/reality?--EmeraldBlitz (talk) 22:24, 17 March 2021 (UTC)

I haven't really come up with a strict rule for this, but the standard I've been personally doing is that they still get articles if they have minor appearances in other generations. For example Megan Williams is mentioned in Equestria Girls, so that version of her gets a page, while Zipporwhill's incarnation in Equestria Girls doesn't get page since she already debuted in G4 media. It's pretty clunky and there's room for improvement I'll admit, but it's my current idea.--Amelia (talk) 01:07, 18 March 2021 (UTC)

Realities

Trying to figure out how to differentiate a couple of the alternate realities and the ponies who inhabit them: specifically, the reality where Fluttershy's counterpart is a popstar and the one where Twilight Sparkle replaces her G1 counterpart and Megan during the events of Rescue at Midnight Castle. Hi! Sorry for the late reply. If they have no name, then I generally name them based off the media/story they're inspired by. I have not had a chance to purchase the third volume I'm afraid but for the example you asked, I would say something like "Midnight Castle reality", but if you have any better idea, feel free to suggest something.--Amelia (talk) 19:26, 16 February 2022 (UTC)
