A Spell Shop was a type of shop that apparently sold spells for ponies to use, such as telporting them great distances. It was unclear if a spell shop was the same as a Magic Shop, which sold items used to cast spells.
Rarity mentioned visiting a spell shop so she could teleport herself and Spike back to Ponyville.
