This ditch is a notable landform in Ponyville, Equestria.
Behind the scenes[edit]
The landmark was somewhat of an early running gag which involved Twilight falling in it after acting haughty or rude. It first appeared in "Friendship is Magic" and may have ended with "Feeling Pinkie Keen". Like a lot of running gags in Season 1, it was short-lived and hardly remembered.
