"There's nothing like a thousand year slumber to work up a healthy appetite!"
— Jewel Joy[source]

Jewel Joy, also known as Autumn Gem and Sapphire Joy was a citizen of the Crystal Empire and housemate of the Plum Crystal Pony.

Biography

Jewel Joy was a prolific and skilled chef, and was described by the Narrator as "quite the gourmet". She lived in the Quartz House with her friend, the Plum Crystal Pony.[1] She was trapped in the Crystal Empire for over 1,000 years as Sombra ruled over it in his reign of darkness. Needless to say, this caused Jewel Joy to fall into a great depression and act in a very low-energy way. Despite this, she was still very kind and friendly to Twilight Sparkle and Spike when they asked her about what happened.[2]

After the fall of Sombra and return of the Crystal Heart, Jewel returned to her upbeat personality she was apparently known for. She proved to be quite the foodie and took great pleasure in eating corn.[3]

She was a regular visitor of the Equestria Games and visited it at least twice as an audience member.[4][5] She also attended the Rainbow Falls Traders Exchange and may have had her own booth.[6]
