Inkwell Gazette (newspaper)

From Equestripedia, the Archives of Equestria!

Inkwell Gazette was the name of the establishment that produced the newspaper of the same name. The place was owned by Inkwell, a good-natured if slightly mysterious unicorn mare. The shop was slightly controversial due to her actions, such as removing certain comic strips which only resulted in bad letters. It's unknown what happened to the printing company after Inkwell became a teacher at Princess Celestia's School For Gifted Unicorns.

Architecture

In contrast to the typical pearly white or light purple buildings throughout Canterlot, Inkwell Gazette was brown and built out of bricks, though had wooden inner-walls. A small, seemingly 1-room shop, Inkwell Gazette didn't seem to be built with comfort in mind, but convenience, as every object needed to work was only in a hoofs distance. The shop was boobytrapped with simple rope traps set up to ensnare any would-be complainers that barged in without asking.
