The fourth princess of Equestria

The Era of Twilight is the second major era of Equestrian history after the Mare of the Moon incident, with the previous being the Era of Harmony. As with most historical eras, the Era of Twilight is a fan term sued on this wiki for a rough approximation of the historical period. Much like the Era of Harmony, the Era of Twilight brought about changes of peace, prosperity, love but also held great wars and great villains.

History

The era was marked as the Coronation of Twilight Sparkle was held, ending the Era of Harmony on a peaceful note. Although the era was generally peaceful, great conflicts were also held during its time period, such as the later Changeling wars (there are a lot), the coming of Tirek and the, thankfully averted, World War that nearly began. During the period, the Gauntlet of Fire was held as the current Dragon lord, Dragon lord Torch, was retiring. During the gauntlet, Spike was crowned king of all dragons, but gave the title to Ember, who became a fine Dragon lord in her own right and forged good relations with Equestria. However, not all relations would be as smooth. Pony and Griffon relations faltered during this era, as Griffon officials tried to scam Equestria out of countless bits over old documents, though that even had a happy ending and Pony and Deer relations also struggled with the Fun Fun Land battles, but once again, that also had a good ending.
