Davenport was a shopkeeper in Ponyville who ran Quills and Sofas.
History
Davenport made his living selling both quills, and sofas, but Spike grew annoyed with him when he ran out of quills to sell.[1] He appeared to be very friendly, especially to those younger than him, affectionately referring to Spike as "Junior" and Twilight Sparkle as "Kid".[1][2] He was fairly business-savy and increased the stock of colors of his products to increase sells.[3]
Behind the scenes
Davenport was voiced by Brian Drummond, and has three known actors in other dubs. His name wasn't mentioned in the show until "It Isn't the Mane Thing About You".
