Conflict

A conflict in military terminology was any kind of war or battle fought, though for the sake of organization, the term has been expanded to feature any noteworthy battle, whether it be a militaristic one or not.

Although Equestria was generally a peaceful realm, it was not without battles and wars. Perhaps the most noteworthy war was the Storm War, a conflict started by the Storm King who was said to have conquered and destroyed a dozen lands each. The war met with its climax and ultimate end during the Conquest of Canterlot, in which Princess Twilight Sparkle managed to stop and later petrify the King with the help of Tempest Shadow.

Historically, the there were many Equestrian conflicts prior to that event, such as the Zephyr War and the Battle of Two Sisters, the latter of which was chillingly recorded throughout Equestrian history.
