Cup Cake, formerly Chiffon Swirl and usually just referred to as Misses Cake, was the co-owner of Sugarcube Corner, wife to Carrot Cake, mother of Pumpkin Cake and Pound Cake and motherly figure to Pinkie Pie.

History

Early life

Not much of Cup Cake's childhood is known, but she was good friends with Pear Butter in her younger years and honored her memory after her (presumed) passing. She grew up in Ponyville, or at least spent most of her life there, so she may not have known Carrot Cake, who grew up in Canterlot, until later in her life. As a young adult, she was very interested in baking, making one of the few adults in Ponyville who seemed to have a passion for her craft early in life.

Personality

Cup Cake was kind, loving and a motherly figure to those younger than her. She loved her friends and family deeply, but like her husband, she tended to be very busy and tired, thus making her interactions with them often sluggish. She seemed to think of Pinkie like a daughter of sorts and trusted her with the safety of her children, but still had reasonable apprehensions about her babysitting. Regardless, she thought highly of Pinkie Pie's abilities. She and her husband have been happily married for years.
