Carnivorism in My Little Pony

Carnivorism is the act of eating meat. Given the typically good-natured, harmless (most of the time) vibes of My Little Pony and the simple fact that Equine are herbivores, Carnivorism in My Little Pony is rare, but not unheard of.

In "Gribet", Bon Bon mentioned that her Mother had a recipe for Frog legs, implying that the consumption of at least frogs is commonplace. In "Birds of a Feather", Ace and Patch seriously consider eating a fish they caught, and mentioned that eating fish was apparently common among ponies.

Friendship is Magic

During The Return of Queen Chrysalis, Queen Chrysalis mentioned that she would have her subjects eat the Cutie Mark Crusaders, as the idea of having them within her body sickened her. In "Luna Eclipsed", it was believed that Princess Luna would eat other ponies.

Needless to say, predator animals eat other animals, which lead to several mishaps at Sweet Feather Sanctuary.
