Canada is a northern country in North America. It's known for being cold, and for containing Igloos. Moose and Mounties are from Canada, eh.
History
My Little Pony
When The Moochick was showing off all the places the Ponies could live, he showed them a landscape inspired by Canada.[1]
Friendship is Magic
At some point, Twilight Sparkle, Pinkie Pie and Spike traveled to Canada and became Mounties, though Twilight was rather confused on why they started looking for Moose, while riding a moose.
