Boulder is a male Diamond Dog who served as an apparent gatekeeper to the Kingdom of Caninia.
History[edit]
Boulder was present when Team Rarity arrived to visit Caninia, and helped them into a mine car to facilitate their entry.
According to one source, he later visited Canterlot, inexplicably staying at the Ornithian Embassy.

Boulder first appeared, unnamed, in the 2021 IDW Annual. He was given the name Boulder upon his inclusion in My Little Pony: Magic Princess. It seems possible that his name may have been given in error, with Maud Pie's reference to her pet rock Boulder being misinterpreted as referring to this Diamond Dog.
