Battle for Ponyville (Niramekko)
Rainbow Dash vs Discord was a major battle that took up the majority of Don't Give Up, Rainbow Dash! in which Rainbow Dash and Discord battled over the fate of Ponyville in a game of Niramekko.
Timeline
Stare down
Rainbow Dash and Discord stare at each other in the outskirts of Ponyville while Discord remarks that he'll take over the town after he defeats Rainbow Dash. Rainbow Dash doesn't give him the satisfaction of a response and instead just stares down the Draconequus
Pinkie's involvement
Pinkie oversees the battle between the two and, as any good friend would, runs off to get help. She finds Twilight and Fluttershy at Golden Oak Library and informs the two that Dashie is fighting Discord...and she might be losing! Obviously concerned, the friends run off and eventually get the help of Applejack and Rarity, all ready to fight by Dash's side.
Dash's downfall

"I'M THE STRONGEST IN EQUESTRIA. THE IRON PONY. I CAN'T LOSE. I WONT LOSE! YOU HEAR ME!?"" |
Despite obviously being outatched by the master of chaos, Dash remains steadfast and unfettered. She proudly charges Discord, proclaiming that she's the strongest in all of Equestria. As she flies towards him, Discord fires a bolt of lightning, while it appears as if Dash is flying faster than the lightning, it quickly catches up with her and smashes her into the ground below.

Twilight and the girls cry out for there friend after she received such an injury, but Dash's spirit isn't dimmed in the slightest and she gets right back up.
Victory
After getting up, Dash makes a face so funny, Discord is stunned and begins laughing hysterically, giving Dash the victory.
Aftermath
Afterwards, Dash is praised for saving Ponyville, though some of her friends are a little confused and annoyed that they worried so much over a simple game.
